A 26-year-old Laidley Heights man has been charged with rape after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman multiple times before robbing her in south-east Queensland.

The man allegedly followed the woman to her home at Gatton, about 10 kilometres north-west of Laidley Heights, after noon and raped her, police said.

The man allegedly left with her some of her belongings, including Go Pros, and money.

Police located a man at a Laidley Heights address where the woman’s property was allegedly found.

He was charged with three counts of rape and one count each of burglary and stealing.

He will appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday.
