Man shot in the face in Gold Coast home invasion

“They left in a small black car, described as possibly a small hyundai, and that car and the three offenders remain outstanding.

“Certainly don’t approach the vehicle, and contact police if the suspect vehicle or any of the people have been seen.”

The injured men, who both live at the house, were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the injured men is Reece King but police have refused to confirm media reports that the other is his brother Brandon King.

Any motives for the home invasion were still unknown and police could not say if the shooter was known to the two men.
