A crime scene has been established and a search is under way to find the attacker.
A neighbour said police are called to the block of units “sometimes two of three times” a day.
“I think we were expecting something like this to happen,” he said.
A month ago, the neighbour, who wished not be named, said he had to ring police about a resident of the unit block.
“He was in our front yard with a needle, and zonked out on our front yard,” he said.
