Police investigating the death of Central Coast woman Devora Howard say they are no closer to determining whether her death is suspicious after the results of an autopsy revealed she drowned.
A fisherman found the body of Ms Howard, 56, floating in water near the boat ramp at Terrigal about 7.10am on September 3.
Earlier that morning, Ms Howard’s dog had been found wandering on the beach near her home in the nearby town of Wamberal. A passer-by took the dog to her home, where her mother called the police.
Ms Howard was last seen wearing white jeans and a grey jumper about 10pm on Monday. She was not wearing the jumper when her body was found, and police have been unable to locate the piece of clothing despite searching the beach.
