A pair who were clinging on to a small capsized boat in the ocean near the Gold Coast were rescued by water police overnight.
Police were called to assist in the marine rescue about 7pm on Thursday when an EPIRD was activated at Jumpinpin Pocket.
PolAir responded and found two passengers clinging to the vessel.
The PolAir footage showed a man waving his arms at the chopper before hugging a woman who appeared to be wet and cold while lying on the boat.
Gold Coast Water Police safely rescued the passengers.
The pair were taken to Runaway Bay Marina before being treated by QAS for minor injuries, including hypothermia.
