Missing Mandurah schoolgirl found after parents make emotional plea

A 12-year-old Mandurah girl who failed to come home from school on Tuesday afternoon has been found after a desperate plea from her parents.

Shylah Chomley, was expected to return home from her Meadow Springs school around 3.40pm.

Shortly before she was found around 7.30am on Wednesday, Shylah’s father, James Chomley, told Nine News Perth the community had rallied together overnight to help in the search.

“It’s been a very long night, we’ve been out searching all night just trying to locate Shylah, it’s a bit of an emotional rollercoaster currently,” he said.
