James Roberts will miss South Sydney’s grand final qualifier against Canberra after being ruled out of the clash with a dislocated thumb.
Roberts, who was put through a searching solo session during the Rabbitohs’ captain’s run at the AIS on Thursday morning, has been in doubt all week and will be replaced by Campbell Graham in the centres.
Corey Allan will come into the side on the wing.
It’s a savage blow for the Rabbitohs, who scraped past Manly to book their spot in the preliminary final and are bidding for their first berth in a decider since 2014.
The clash against the Raiders was officially sold out when the remaining tickets were snapped up in just six minutes when they went on sale to the general public on Tuesday.
