Two people have been charged following an out-of-control-gathering at a house in Perth’s east overnight.
Police were called to a Lynstead Street address in Beckenham about 10.10pm following reports of fighting in the backyard of a house where a party was being held.
Officers responded and found about 100 people in the front yard and street.
Many were drinking alcohol and were hostile and there was a large amount of broken glass on the road and surrounds.
Police declared an out-of-control-gathering to shut down the party, with officers utilising “robust public-order tactics” to move party-goers away from there area. There were no injuries reported.
A 47-year-old woman was summonsed for disorderly conduct at Beckenham train station and the 21-year-old party host was arrested for disorderly behaviour and refusing to provide his name.
