Meanwhile, San Francisco 49ers beat Washington Redskins 9-0 on three Robbie Gould field goals at a rain-drenched FedEx Field to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Indianapolis Colts moved top of the AFC South with a 30-23 win over the Houston Texans as Jacoby Brissett threw for 326 yards and four touchdowns, two of them to wide receiver Zach Pascal.

Lamar Jackson passed for 143 yards and rushed for 116 more and a touchdown while Baltimore Ravens’ defence scored twice to overcome Seattle Seahawks 30-16.

Cornerback Marcus Peters returned an interception 67 yards for a score in the second quarter for the Ravens (5-2) while defensive back Marlon Humphrey returned a fumble 18 yards for a clinching touchdown in the final quarter.

Minnesota Vikings beat NFC North rivals the Detroit Lions 42-30 despite four touchdown catches from the Lions’ Marvin Jones.

Jurrell Casey recovered Melvin Gordon’s fumble in the end zone with 19 seconds left to cap a bizarre ending that gave the Tennessee Titans a 23-20 win over Los Angeles Chargers.

NFC West rivals Arizona Cardinals won 27-21 against New York Giants while Jacksonville Jaguars beat the winless Cincinnati Bengals 27-17. The Dallas Cowboys were too good for the Philadelphia Eagles, winning 37-10.
