Couple missing in high country for three days found alive and well

The Gippsland couple missing for three days in Victoria’s high country have been found alive and well “in the middle of nowhere”.

Guy Beesley, 70, and his wife Susan, 69, left Whiteheads Creek, west of Seymour in the Goulburn Valley, about midday on Monday and never made it home to Willung, in the Gippsland region.

Mansfield Police confirmed the couple was found on Thursday at the intersection of Bull Plain Road and Black Soil Gully Track in Licola North, about 235 kilometres from Whiteheads Creek.

Guy and Susan Beesley have been missing since Monday.

They were found 11.20am alive and well, but no other details were readily available.
