A bricklayer who threatened a nurse with a sawn-off shotgun while sexually assaulting her alongside his mate vomited in court after he was told he would be spending the next four months behind bars.
Nicholas Morse, 23, held the gun centimetres from the 25-year-old victim’s ribs at his home in regional Victoria, also squeezing her breasts and buttocks through her clothes as he forced himself on her amid a barrage of vulgar taunts.
His mate and co-offender, 23-year-old Jack Cowton, also groped and taunted the woman who arrived at Morse’s place after work with Cowton’s sister on July 15, 2017.
Morse was jailed for four months by Victoria’s County Court on Friday, after a jury found him guilty of two counts of sexual assault and one of being armed with criminal intent.
When released from prison, he must perform 200 hours of unpaid work as part of a two-year community correction order.
