Renegades claim back-to-back wins as Heat fall in a heap

Another Brisbane horror batting performance has gifted the Melbourne Renegades a 44-run BBL win at the Gabba.

Two days after being rolled for 100 in just 17 overs in a 10-wicket thrashing by Adelaide, the Heat lost 10 for 36 on Sunday night to be dismissed for 120, chasing 165.

Great escape: the Melbourne Renegades turned the game around to claim a stunning win and continue their unbeaten five-game streak against the Brisbane Heat at the Gabba.

After the Renegades made 6-164, the Heat made a blistering start with Sam Heazlett and Chris Lynn belting an 84-run opening partnership in six overs.

Lynn’s innings included a 24-run over off Mohammad Nabi featuring three sixes including a 110m monster hit.
