Man stabbed in inner west home invasion

A man has been stabbed to the face and arm during a home invasion in Sydney’s inner west overnight.

Police are seeking three men aged in their 20s of caucasian appearance after the stabbing incident, which took place in the man’s home on New Canterbury Road, Dulwich Hill.

Emergency services were called to the residential unit by the man, who called police around 11.15pm to report that he had been assaulted.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and the man was treated for a stab wound to his arm and facial injuries. He was subsequently taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in serious but stable condition.

A crime scene was establihed and enquiries are continuing.
