A 36-year-old woman driving a minivan has died after a three-vehicle crash at Redland Bay.
A utility was travelling along Serpentine Creek Road about 11pm on Friday when it struck the rear of a sedan, police said.
The ute then allegedly veered into the path of an oncoming minivan being driven by the Redland Bay woman, who was assessed by paramedics but died at the scene.
Paramedics including critical care and the High Acuity Response Unit treated three others at the scene.
Two people declined transport to hospital while a man who was freed from his vehicle with assistance from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services officers suffered a minor limb injury.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police are appealing for anyone travelling in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.
