Dairy Farmers recalls milk due to E. coli fears

Supermarkets have recalled some varieties of Dairy Farmers milk sold in NSW due to a possible E. coli contamination.

The recall affects Dairy Farmers one-litre full cream milk bottles with a use-by date of 24/02/2020 and three-litre full cream milk bottles with a use-by date of 25/02/2020 sold in Coles, Woolworths and IGA supermarkets.

The brand’s manufacturer, Lion Dairy & Drinks, said there had been no consumer complaints received regarding the products.

“Lion Dairy & Drinks is committed to the highest standards of quality and safety and consumers and customers can be assured that we are undertaking a thorough investigation and will put in place steps to mitigate it happening again,” they said in a statement.
