It has been a tough couple of weeks for former ATC chairman John Cornish.
On Wednesday, Cornish made his way to Randwick for his first race meeting without his beloved wife Pam, who recently passed away. His two-year-old Centimental was running as favourite.
It was always going to be a tough day.
On arrival, Cornish went down to the stalls to see the Snitzel filly and then tripped and fell, busting a shoulder, breaking an elbow and a couple of ribs.
