Super Seth sneaks into All-Star Mile top 10

Caulfield Guineas winner Super Seth has accepted the invite to next month’s All-Star Mile after sneaking into the top 10 in voting before Sunday’s deadline.

The second running of Racing Victoria’s $5 million mile race has attracted a stellar top 10, which includes six group 1 winners.

Three-year-old stars Alligator Blood and Catalyst are set to clash in next week’s Australian Guineas and then again in the All-Star Mile, which will also feature Epsom Handicap winner Kolding, New Zealand star mare Melody Belle and Queensland Derby winner Mr Quickie.

Oaks winner Aristia attracted a stack of votes, as did Heart Of Puissance, Star Missile and Dalasan.

But just 135,000 people voted this year, about 4000 fewer than in 2019 despite opening the voting to New Zealanders this year.

Five wildcards will round out the field of 15 for the March 14 race.
