“He’s coming along well, Kementari,” Cummings said.
“He’s completed the necessary preliminaries to get that far [to the trials] and round about April you might see him back at the races.
“He’s like a yearling, he’s bouncing around, he’s got his tail in the air and he’s feeling good about his gallops. He looks good.
“We’ve got our feet on the ground and we’ll unveil him and saddle him up in a race when he’s ready, but he looks like he’s got the eye of a tiger.”
It is believed just one mare remains in foal to Kementari.
Seeveral other stars will step out at Rosehill on Tuesday.
Santa Ana Lane, who trialled at Werribee last Tuesday, will trial against last year’s Oakleigh Plate winner Booker, who is now with Gerald Ryan, ahead of a return in the Canterbury Stakes.
Freedman Racing will also run I Am Immortal in the 1300-metre group 1 on March 7 after electing to scratch the three-year-old from the Oakleigh Plate.
Santa Ana Lane will then look to defend his TJ Smith crown second up, while I Am Immortal is likely to progress towards the Galaxy Stakes.
Melbourne Cup placegetter Il Paradiso also steps out at Rosehill for the first time for Chris Waller.
The former Aidan O’Brien-trained four-year-old is expected to be targeted towards the $1.5 million 2200-metre race at Eagle farm on June 6.
“He’s come back really well,” Waller told AAP.
“We are carefully finding our way with him but he seems to be adapting and doing everything right.
“We will see where we are after he trials but it would be nice to think he can have a couple of runs during the autumn.”
A large number of two-year-olds will also trial including Mount Fuji, the $2.8 million yearling who flopped behind Rulership on debut.
The Snowden-trained colt by Snitzel trialled impressively on February 6 following his disappointing debut, but will have another run on Tuesday before a likely return to the track.
The Snowdens will also trial Cosmic Force, who was last seen finishing sixth in the Coolmore Stud Stakes in November behind Exceedance.
The talented three-year-old had just three runs last spring, running second to Standout first up before turning the tables to win the group 2 Roman Consul.
Standout, who won the group 2 Expressway earlier this month, will also gallop on Tuesday in the same trial as Il Paradiso and Youngstar.
