Almost one week after testing positive for coronavirus, Tom Hanks has shared a further insight into the lives of he and Rita Wilson while under isolation – and his familiarity with a local delicacy.
The pair, who tested positive last week while in Queensland for Hanks’ work on the new Baz Luhrmann Elvis biopic and a string of national concerts by Wilson, have reportedly swapped their Gold Coast Hospital isolation ward for more homely digs as they wait out their coronavirus quarantine.
A representative for the pair told multiple US news outlets on Tuesday they would remain under quarantine in a rented house for the next five days. Queensland Health would not confirm the couple’s movements due to patient confidentiality.
“Good news: One week after testing positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same,” the double Oscar winner wrote on social media Wednesday morning.
