Gang rapist Mohammed Skaf refused parole again

Gang rapist Mohammed Skaf will remain behind bars for at least another five months, after the State Parole Authority refused to review its decision refusing him parole earlier this year.

Skaf, then 17, his brother Bilal and at least 14 other men raped at least six schoolgirls across Sydney over several sickening weeks in a series of terrifying attacks NSW district court judge Michael Finnane branded “worse than murder”.

He has been behind bars since his arrest in 2000 and has spent more than half his life in prison, applying for release in 2017 which was rejected.

He then applied for parole a second time under the so-called manifest injustice provisions in August last year.
