Sixth big freeze raises more than $7 million despite virus disruption

AFL club bosses proved to be popular costume options, with David Koch (Port Adelaide’s Tom Rockliff) and Jeff Kennett (Issac Smith from Hawthorn) also making an appearance.

FightMND chief executive Jamie Howden said while the fundraiser’s format changed this year, Australians continue to be afflicted by MND, and because the disease “won’t stop, neither will the FightMND army”.

Over the past five years, the Big Freeze has raised more than $23.6 million for research into motor neurone disease.
