All three officers have been assessed at the medical centre and are seeking further medical assessments for upper body injures.
The corrective services investigations unit will be advised.
This is the third incident at the centre in three days after an officer was spat at by a prisoner on Monday and another officer was injured after three prisoners damaged property in a secured unit.
A Queensland Correctional Service statement said officer safety was of the highest priority.
“Unfortunately from time to time our officers are required to put themselves in harm’s way to ensure the safety and security of the community,” it read.
“We are thankful for their commitment, and for the important role they play in making Queensland safer for all of us.”
“Every day our officers interact with the most challenging and complex people in our society.”
Management and senior officers are continuing to support the officer, their family and their colleagues.
