St Kilda’s bid to rebound from last week’s bad loss to Fremantle will be trickier than it seems, given the Adelaide Crows are expecting their torrid season to get a boost from a fired-up home crowd.
“It’s not the normal 40,000 to 50,000 the Crows can get to games but I am excited,” Crows coach Matthew Nicks said of the 21,000 tickets available to fans for Monday’s game.
“I know it’s going to help our players, our players have really been looking forward to it all week to get some support behind us.
“I know they will give our guys a lift no doubt. That’s where you talk about that mental side … we are beginning to get to a place where we are consistent and we’re performing quarter-by-quarter rather than by missing a quarter.
