Crime scenes have been declared on two inner-Brisbane streets after a series of suspicious fires damaged a home and cars overnight.

They were called back a short time later to a fire at a second home in the street which was “extensively damaged”, police said in a statement.

Meanwhile, a third fire was reported at a unit block on Hampstead Road, damaging cars parked underneath.

No one was injured in either of the fires, with police now asking for people who might have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
