Cats declare ‘big time’ interest in Giants star Cameron

Geelong have confirmed they more than just interested in luring free agent Jeremy Cameron to the club, with chief executive Brian Cook declaring that the Cats are “in the market big time” for him.

Greater Western Sydney have been suspicious for some time now that another club was lurking, given the out-of-contract forward had yet to sign despite privately and publicly stating that he was happy at the Giants.

Sources close to Cameron suggest he is now torn between the two offers, despite saying as recently as July that he believed he would re-sign with the Giants shortly after the contract freeze was lifted.

Geelong, despite being on the eve of yet another preliminary final appearance, have confirmed they want Cameron at the Cats.
