A man accused of ramming two young women with his ute outside a pub in Collie on Thursday night faced court on Saturday after being charged by police.

Police allege the two women, aged 23 and 18, were waiting outside the Crown Hotel on Throssell Street about 11pm on Thursday when Mr Byrne-Quinn reversed his Toyota Hilux ute into the pair.

Fellow patrons had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by the vehicle, which pinned the two women to the wall with such force it caused it to partially collapse.
