Logan Motorway reopened after truck rollover led to ‘standstill’

The Logan Motorway, south of Brisbane, was reopened about 5pm on Monday after a truck rollover closed eastbound lanes for hours.

Emergency services were called to the Forest Lake incident just after 2pm following reports a woodchip truck had rolled.

The driver of the woodchip truck was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The major artery was eventually closed from the Ipswich Motorway on-ramp to the Centenary Motorway interchange about 4pm, toll provider Linkt said on social media.

It was reopened about 5pm, with delays “now easing”.

Paramedics earlier treated the driver for minor injuries at the scene, with news footage showing the small truck on its side in the far-right lane.

A police spokeswoman earlier said diversions had been put in place, with traffic at a “standstill” from near the Woogaroo Street overpass.

Delays were also expected in westbound lanes and along the Centenary Highway.
