Tyres 4 U has leased a 13,390 sq m freestanding industrial facility at 39 Britton Street from Mirvac paying $120 sq m net under a seven-year lease. The site comes with a 2697sq m awning, full height precast construction with six on grade RSDs and six docks. The tenant plans to amalgamate multiple existing facilities in western Sydney to drive better efficiencies from operating at one larger premise. The deal was negotiated by John Swanson and Ray Trimboli at Savills Australia.

Colliers International has appointed Malcom Tyson as chief executive Australia. Mr Tyson has been a senior member of Colliers’ Australian and New Zealand Executive Leadership team since 2005 and held a variety of executive and operational roles. He will take over the position of CEO from John Kenny, who has been appointed as the CEO for the Asia Pacific region.
In another move, Colliers International appointed Rick Thomas as managing director | emerging markets. In this newly created role, Mr Thomas will partner with the managing directors of the emerging markets businesses to accelerate growth. Reporting into chief operating officer | Asia Pacific, Paul Baxter, Mr Thomas will focus on expanding Colliers’ client base and identifying new business and opportunities for cross-border collaboration.
