She’s behind Instagram’s most viral pieces – so what’s in her wardrobe?

What fragrance do you wear?
My Way, a new scent by Giorgio Armani. I’m always receiving compliments on it.

Do you remember a favourite outfit you wore as a child?
My mum loved dressing me up. My little sister and I were dancers, we’d wear all kinds of fun outfits that were designed by my mum and sewn by my aunty.

And your worst fashion mistake?
Anything that looked fine at home but, once I was out, I realised was too short or cut too deep. I’ve learnt my lesson! Now when I’m trying on a new outfit, I’ll walk around, sit down, bend over. Being comfortable is so important. If you’re not comfortable, you won’t feel confident and that will come through.

What was your first fashion moment?
Before I worked in fashion, I came to Sydney and bought my first luxury purchase, a Céline “Trapèze” bag. I analysed every single corner to make sure it was absolute perfection; it was a big investment at the time. That was the start of my passion, or at least my desire, to move into the luxury fashion space.

What’s at the top of your fashion wish list?
I have my eye on pieces from Chanel’s spring/summer collection.

Is there something you would never wear?
I don’t do super-feminine dresses or floral prints.

What shoes do you wear most often?
I love Chanel shoes and I have a few pairs on repeat, including loafers and the classic dad sandals.

Who’s your favourite fashion icon?
Lara Worthington: everything she wears is classic and chic. Also, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: the neutral colours, the way she mixes it up, she always looks incredible.

What do you wear on a typical working day?
Usually shorts with a T-shirt or tank and a blazer. I keep a few pairs of heels in the office for meetings but otherwise loafers.

What’s your favourite off-duty, casual Sunday look?
A sweatsuit – I like Hommebody and Les Tien – and Yeezy sneakers. If I’m running around doing life errands, I want something I’m really comfortable in.
