Anyone who has entered Victoria from the City of Brisbane and Moreton Bay area since March 12 must immediately self isolate, the health department says.
They must also get a coronavirus test within 72 hours and stay isolated until they receive a negative result, the health department tweeted on Friday night.
An announcement was made at the Geelong-Brisbane game on Friday that anyone that had come from Brisbane or the Moreton Bay area and who was in the crowd must leave the venue and self-isolate. AFL commentators Luke Hodge and Wayne Carey were among those to leave the ground.
The Victorian Department of Health said they would be contacting anyone who entered the state from the City of Brisbane and Moreton Bay Region since March 12 to “advise them of their obligations”.
The health department will be using the travel permit system to contact people.
The Queensland health department has listed a number of exposure sites, which travellers are encouraged to review.
People in Victoria who were at any of the exposure sites at the specified times must contact the Victorian Department at 1300 651 150.
