The foster brother of murdered Queensland girl Tiahleigh Palmer has been charged over allegedly breaking into a business south of Brisbane.
Trent Thorburn, 24, has been charged with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence, after he and two teenagers were allegedly involved in stealing equipment from a business about 8pm on June 25 in the outer southern Brisbane suburb of Parkinson.
Mr Thorburn will appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 28.
It comes two weeks after he spoke during a two-day coronial inquest into Tiahleigh’s death in 2015.
On November 5, 2015, three fishermen found Tiahleigh’s mostly naked and partially submerged body on the banks of the Pimpama River in the Gold Coast hinterland.
Mr Thorburn was convicted of four charges, including incest after having sex with his 12-year-old foster sister. His father, Rick Thorburn, then killed Tiahleigh for fear she might have been pregnant.
